Instagram for CBD capsule and softgel brands
A capsule is a white oval in a white pot. There is no texture shot, no pipette, no colour. What capsules have instead is precision: a fixed amount per unit, which is the reason people choose them and the single most restricted thing to write about.

When the photograph cannot carry the post
Capsule brands post the pot, then the pot at a different angle, then the pot with a plant next to it. The category is the clearest case for design led formats: if the product cannot be interesting to look at, the post has to be interesting to read, and that means typography rather than photography.
This is where a template family earns its place. A carousel that looks composed carries text the way a product photograph cannot, and the design comes from the brand's own colours and type rather than from a stock look.
Precision is the subject, and it is the risk
The reason a buyer picks capsules over oil is that they do not want to think about the amount. Saying so is intake advice, and intake advice is where the market rules bite.
Do not write this
One capsule a day, 25 mg, that is your daily dose sorted
Write this instead
Each softgel holds 25 milligrams of CBD. Sixty in a pot, so a pot is sixty units. What is in the shell is on the ingredient list.
Why. A serving, a frequency and the phrase daily dose. In the EU and the UK any of the three pulls in a required notice, and the third is the one that reads most like advice.
The difference between the two is that the second states a property of the product and the first tells someone what to do. That distinction is the whole game in this category.
What there is to say
- The shell. Gelatine or plant based is a real purchase decision and it is on nobody's feed.
- Content per unit as arithmetic: units in a pot, milligrams per unit, milligrams in a pot.
- Why an oil and a capsule at the same strength are not the same purchase.
- The carrier inside the softgel, which differs between formulations more than buyers realise.
- Testing, batch by batch, the same as any other form.
- Travel and storage, which is the honest practical advantage of a sealed unit.
Market wording
Because everything about a capsule is a quantity, the notices about intake apply more often here than anywhere else. The exact sentences are in the European Union guide and the United Kingdom guide.
Questions
- Can I say how many capsules are in a pot?
- Yes. Count and content per unit are facts about the product. What turns into advice is attaching a frequency, and that is where the required notices start.
- What should a capsule brand photograph?
- The pot, once, properly. After that, design led formats carry more than another product shot, because the product itself has one look and it does not change.
